After coming back from my trip last month, I just couldn't get back into the swing of things and start creating again....but then I thought I was gonna get back into it when I went to two Make-and-Takes at a couple of BF stores this past Saturday. We made such cute projects with Cheryl and Cheri that I was getting antsy to start crafting at home again. Well, it was gonna start with me posting pics of the Hello Kitty Halloween takeout box and Christmas treat bag that we made, but when I woke up Sunday, my computer wouldn't boot up! So I turned my husband's computer on and found that I couldn't get on the internet. So after he finally rolled out of bed, I asked him about his computer and found out that he lost the internet connection on Saturday night. What junk timing, yeah?
Well little did I know that my Sunday was only going to get "better"....after taking my computer in to Best Buy to have it looked at, we got a call that it wasn't just the hard drive, but something more (not sure what, but it didn't sound good), so now I'll be without my computer for about 3 weeks or so since they have to send it to the mainland to be worked on! Those on Facebook know that I have been getting into some of the FB applications, and it really hit home on just how addicting FB has become....I felt so cut off from the world without being able to jump on a computer and check on my farm crops, fish tanks or play with my pet pig, Porky Sue! :D Is that sad, or what?? Luckily, my sister has an extra laptop that she is graciously letting me use while I'm computer-less....BUT I don't wanna load all my stuff on her computer, so my postings and pics might be pretty erratic (yes, more than it has been lately!) during this time...
Happily, I had a pretty good day at work today. Very busy, but little things like the elevator just being there when I push the button and still waiting for me when I was going back to my floor, really perked me up! Doesn't take much, huh?
Anyways, hope your week is going better than mine started off....

Ok, I thought I was having a bad week with my computer at work. Feeling your pain! But at least when my computer at work is down...it's a good reason (not excuse) that I have to go and craft some samples because I can't work on a report! Well, it's all fixed now,nothing major. I understand about FB, I have to limit myself, too!
I feel your pain,the same thing happened to my laptop!! It is still out of service.....a virus probably from a blog...do you think we got it from the same place? I sure hope not....hope you have a better week.

Yup, I feel your pain. I know that my desktop is on the verge of crashing because it's freezing up during fb and takes forever to boot up. You should have told me, I could have looked at it. Nothing else but I could have looked at it. You can tell Glenn that and he'll just laugh....
Ohh...I hear ya Fay! And you're right about FB...addiction!!! I lost my entire farm twice for being so busy and with a junky internet connection at the hotel and the sad thing is that it was like I lost REAL money, on top of that all my fish were belly up. LOL...I hope to see you back soon! : ) Take care!
