One of my co-workers retired at the end of August. We started at District Court about the same time, and actually worked at the same bank prior to starting (miss you already, Pat!). She just loves monkeys, so I was asked to make a monkey card for her. Korin cut out the monkey image on her Cricut for me (thanks Korin!), and I started from there. It's not quite how I pictured it would come out, but oh well. . .
I handcut the tree and branches as well as the vines and leaves. The most challenging part was gluing all the tiny leaves down without getting glue all over. Pat enjoyed the card and the best part was that the girls in the office decorated her desk area with actual crepe paper vines and leaves and had all sorts of monkeys hanging and swinging from them. So cute!
Monkey: Create A Critter cartridge (Cricut)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Glorious Green, Early Espresso (Stampin' Up!); brown cardstock (Worldwin Papers)
Adhesive: Mono Multi Glue (Tombow)
Thanks for swinging by!
