<br />
Hi again! Can't believe I'm posting twice in one month! LOL Just wanted to share what I made for the girls in the office for Easter: a cute little treat tote box!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh5GVmWhuqQUjYq9iEY-im_S3vUqyTkqXIpyXRHiiJ9DD7yJ2ncVh5CpbAYGlGpmB5Wv2oB_alra9eBQHj-sg8TRJywvQycWQh4OnglEHIQmCkwh_WY5cnQ_PYWPPbxKX_RyBxmqoAweg/s1600/Easter+Treat+Box.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="164" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh5GVmWhuqQUjYq9iEY-im_S3vUqyTkqXIpyXRHiiJ9DD7yJ2ncVh5CpbAYGlGpmB5Wv2oB_alra9eBQHj-sg8TRJywvQycWQh4OnglEHIQmCkwh_WY5cnQ_PYWPPbxKX_RyBxmqoAweg/s320/Easter+Treat+Box.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I got the template for this cute box on Dawn Olchefske's blog (check out her helpful video <a href="http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2012/10/video-stampin-up-mini-treat-tote-box.html" target="_blank">here</a>). It was pretty easy to make, thank goodness! I couldn't fit very many candies in this, but everyone loved it! So now I have a whole bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs (along with lots of other chocolates) to eat . . . poor me. Not! :D</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Also wanted to share what Korin's mom, Pearl, made for us. . .</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Xa7XG_LY_delD0glCmEPnLw4tg1I-yyPrxBUH6iFoSmEKE3O_D3wi6qe2XN_FR1nVWsH7Z2yNj8j8v4Abl4oVAsClPRIJDa00NtNiG4XwaMh-334QeZomVcHMyPJmuJ0TtM9sw4qw4w/s1600/Easter+Treat+from+Pearl+and+Korin.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Xa7XG_LY_delD0glCmEPnLw4tg1I-yyPrxBUH6iFoSmEKE3O_D3wi6qe2XN_FR1nVWsH7Z2yNj8j8v4Abl4oVAsClPRIJDa00NtNiG4XwaMh-334QeZomVcHMyPJmuJ0TtM9sw4qw4w/s320/Easter+Treat+from+Pearl+and+Korin.jpg" width="254" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
OMG isn't this just too cute? Thank you so much, Pearl and Korin--I LOVE it! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyways, hope you all have a Happy Easter (and don't eat too many candies)!</div>

I just LOVE this Kokeshi set from Dandelion Designs! So cute, yeah?! Anyways I'm slowing trying to get back into crafting to make use if the tons of stuff I've "collected"....or I'm gonna have sell it/give it away because I have no more room in the condo. Fingers crossed that I will be able to use some of this stuff...<br />
<br />
Hope you have a happy Monday!<br />

One of my co-workers retired at the end of August. We started at District Court about the same time, and actually worked at the same bank prior to starting (miss you already, Pat!). She just loves monkeys, so I was asked to make a monkey card for her. Korin cut out the monkey image on her Cricut for me (thanks Korin!), and I started from there. It's not quite how I pictured it would come out, but oh well. . .<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwNRkq4hlGV5yScuXv9vLla6Ht0F43wJYz-0pUsmmAK1I9pIPbzzDQWVsMEycmNf4bxYMGT8fmmUbNWOaKoibDAF1U0T-ry7MufLyiQAycLwIUnzmZVT5xzuVYQ0q2SUn29PbTLZv3I_Q/s1600/Pat's+Retirement+Card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="168" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwNRkq4hlGV5yScuXv9vLla6Ht0F43wJYz-0pUsmmAK1I9pIPbzzDQWVsMEycmNf4bxYMGT8fmmUbNWOaKoibDAF1U0T-ry7MufLyiQAycLwIUnzmZVT5xzuVYQ0q2SUn29PbTLZv3I_Q/s320/Pat's+Retirement+Card.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I handcut the tree and branches as well as the vines and leaves. The most challenging part was gluing all the tiny leaves down without getting glue all over. Pat enjoyed the card and the best part was that the girls in the office decorated her desk area with actual crepe paper vines and leaves and had all sorts of monkeys hanging and swinging from them. So cute!<br />
<br />
<u>Supplies Used</u><br />
Monkey: Create A Critter cartridge (Cricut)<br />
Cardstock: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Glorious Green, Early Espresso (Stampin' Up!); brown cardstock (Worldwin Papers)<br />
Adhesive: Mono Multi Glue (Tombow)<br />
<br />
Thanks for swinging by!<br />

I just had to try out the Adorning Accents Edgelits with matching folder after seeing so many beautiful cards on other blogs. I think the hardest part was making the bottom edge straight. I saw on a blog (sorry can't remember which one) that you could use a Post-It to hold the edgelit die in place. I had tried using Scotch removable tape (blue box) earlier, but it was a little too tacky for me. The Post-It worked great!!<br />

Hi there!<br />
I'm finally getting around to posting a few cards I made last month when
I got together with Jo and her gang. . .while surfing on the 'net, I
saw the cutest birthday card and knew everyone would enjoy making it. I just changed it up a little bit by adding a couple of strips of cardstock at the top of the card.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1c0eF2q1pGXN4GJbxxQ_6P4HWskHCyd8WBV6i99-vz_PP4f4APZjyPpFfge1kHhmIxwM5a45rn6S6-FX70Tln7TiBfNn7AE5CLdLINEI_LpTr8x9mfJsM2jGcUqKEr_N6oQDvZS5eztY/s1600/Birthday+Wishes+%28long%29+card.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="164" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1c0eF2q1pGXN4GJbxxQ_6P4HWskHCyd8WBV6i99-vz_PP4f4APZjyPpFfge1kHhmIxwM5a45rn6S6-FX70Tln7TiBfNn7AE5CLdLINEI_LpTr8x9mfJsM2jGcUqKEr_N6oQDvZS5eztY/s320/Birthday+Wishes+%28long%29+card.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Anyway, I'm hoping to start posting a bit more regularly. Finally started to clean my craft room, so getting hopeful that I will be a bit more organized!<br />
<br />
Until next time,<br />

Had to make a card for a wedding we were attending last month, so I decided to start using my eclips machine. Now I'm wondering why it took me so long to start using it. . .gonna have to start using it when I make little goodies for the office.<br /><br />Here's how the card turned out. . .<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7HNpSYpNXVZuU0gnXp9lgl8TWvssZ0KABDY39tBxBhLqfxMiZmW3nKSwE_bhX7UhRbnG-OQcfQyGfK798ZZJIe5rPPW0W7DpmQSGEI9oEhQyaExCUwk8eCElIK4Jsfibz8729499JEnU/s1600/Wedding+Card.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 234px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7HNpSYpNXVZuU0gnXp9lgl8TWvssZ0KABDY39tBxBhLqfxMiZmW3nKSwE_bhX7UhRbnG-OQcfQyGfK798ZZJIe5rPPW0W7DpmQSGEI9oEhQyaExCUwk8eCElIK4Jsfibz8729499JEnU/s320/Wedding+Card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5730406735663724562" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I used shimmery cardstock and text-weight paper to give it a little extra something. I used foam tape to add dimension to the wedding cake and decorations so that the white-on-white image would "pop" and the cake wouldn't fade into the background.<br /><br />Here's a shot of the cake from the side (see all the little foam pieces I used!). . .<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkhMPw3M-ovyDNXccCEGWr3sKlKPo-TO9Wkebaic1GLIC42fwxQe4RxPu8xcnVqwKNh0nQKynAYqw26aA2vF_4fYSP833sKrjrD7Bb_okgNvdNuNMhOkyarvt_iO0UZm2TYqfxoWbootE/s1600/Wedding+Card+%2528close-up%2529.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 198px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkhMPw3M-ovyDNXccCEGWr3sKlKPo-TO9Wkebaic1GLIC42fwxQe4RxPu8xcnVqwKNh0nQKynAYqw26aA2vF_4fYSP833sKrjrD7Bb_okgNvdNuNMhOkyarvt_iO0UZm2TYqfxoWbootE/s320/Wedding+Card+%2528close-up%2529.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5730407611809597538" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Using the eclips made making this card super quick and easy. The most challenging part? Cutting and placing the foam pieces on the cutouts (and then taking off the backing paper!). That part wasn't too much fun.<br /><br />Considering I haven't made anything for over 6 months, I was pretty pleased with how the card turned out. Now to finish cleaning my room, so I can actually find stuff! LOL<br /><br />Thanks for dropping by!<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-17744368508073630922011-09-12T11:45:00.003-10:002011-09-12T11:56:35.736-10:00Birthday BouquetLast week was Buffie's birthday, and I wanted to give her a gift card to Target, one of her favorite stores. While walking around the store looking for a cute card, I saw a bag of their gift coins. I instantly thought of making flowers, with the centers being the gift coins. This is how it turned out.....<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzSgkw-aZAAh1oCs9QFMqqqQWpfmLOP8PVFWDLUw1JmLPtwSEreWF3XE5iysLVwias4jzRCxaP6dqBnMxqT10PJ0K-B9MhkJczqOYdNJzBOJvGCmEfovFu3fXzlh8U9IsnCSnGqShuOkI/s1600/bday+bouquet.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 240px; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5651592751348492850" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzSgkw-aZAAh1oCs9QFMqqqQWpfmLOP8PVFWDLUw1JmLPtwSEreWF3XE5iysLVwias4jzRCxaP6dqBnMxqT10PJ0K-B9MhkJczqOYdNJzBOJvGCmEfovFu3fXzlh8U9IsnCSnGqShuOkI/s320/bday+bouquet.jpg" /></a><br /><br />The coins were quite a bit bigger than I expected, so I had to use my Nestabilities to cut out the circles and scalloped circles (I had been planning to use punches). Anyways, I'm trying to get back into the swing of crafty things, but wouldn't you know that I'm going on vacation this week. So we'll see what happens (or doesn't)....<br /><br />Thanks for dropping in!<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Signature" src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-12556272834251844162011-04-26T17:02:00.000-10:002011-04-26T17:02:00.223-10:00Hoppy (Belated) Easter!!Hi there! Hope you had a great Easter!! I've been relaxing and not doing much crafting. Of course, I had to make something for Easter, but decided to just make more of the baskets that I made in my last class using the Two Tags die since I had a lot of leftover pre-cut cardstock pieces.<br /><br />I wanted to share some items that I received at work for Easter because they are <span style="FONT-STYLE: italic">sooooo</span> cute! I apologize for posting them so late, but I forgot them at work(!) last week. First is an Easter Bunny that was made by Korin and her mom Pearl, using the dress die box. Can you believe this was created using only punches? Beautiful!!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNoDcp06xQNgGpmPaogOLkZ6G0QtOdCoo340xVesiEGNDvVmSMsY03TYkDpoOMCJaK6RvhpXk6Dg9ewlvcGRcGaBZ5YYcROK9ydr8yGPHOGhSEFHxiWQuLog0sfd4a-fY4VoSlLhUmrDg/s1600/Hoppy+Easter+%2528Korin%2529.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 202px; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: pointer" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5599893497643324786" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNoDcp06xQNgGpmPaogOLkZ6G0QtOdCoo340xVesiEGNDvVmSMsY03TYkDpoOMCJaK6RvhpXk6Dg9ewlvcGRcGaBZ5YYcROK9ydr8yGPHOGhSEFHxiWQuLog0sfd4a-fY4VoSlLhUmrDg/s320/Hoppy+Easter+%2528Korin%2529.jpg" /></a><br /><br />and this was made by Pat using the Sizzix takeout box. LOL! Before I forget, wanted to share a pic of the favors I made for my friend Dana's baby shower last Friday. She's having a girl, but didn't want pink, so she chose lavendar. Great choice (my fave color)!!<br /><br />Decided to make baby carriages that I saw on berkerblog (click <a href="http://berkerblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/baby-carriage.html">here</a> for her tutorial):<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR7Sg1nJiIaa_FUzsz7vOspG26OZJCByhVDNiRL9igIrofdKVVbsE1dQ2qPMpXTSfIb-7-1LfX-iXTWhDo2r4vdXSteIPnF0JBSm9afn5XkMWuNh-jNni9Jd_llrK_T3u5aSIE64yHCqY/s1600/Baby+Carriage+favor.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 264px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR7Sg1nJiIaa_FUzsz7vOspG26OZJCByhVDNiRL9igIrofdKVVbsE1dQ2qPMpXTSfIb-7-1LfX-iXTWhDo2r4vdXSteIPnF0JBSm9afn5XkMWuNh-jNni9Jd_llrK_T3u5aSIE64yHCqY/s320/Baby+Carriage+favor.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5583470914743502450" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I actually had a lot of fun making these, and think they turned out pretty cute! We had tons of fun at her shower playing the dirty diaper and baby food in a jar games.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Supplies used:</span><br />Paper: Lavendar CS (American Crafts); Elegant Eggplant CS, Whisper White CS (SU!)<br />Other: Scallop Circle punch, 1-3/8" Circle punch, 1-1/4" Circle punch, Three Flower punch (SU!); Large Scalloped Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders); Swiss Dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug); Signo Uniball white gel pen; adhesive pearls; mini brads; 1/16" circle punch<br /><br />Hope you all had a great weekend!<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-46934091505678496612011-03-12T09:28:00.001-10:002011-03-12T09:28:00.311-10:00Last of the Class (Samples!)Hi again! I'm back with the last samples from Dawne's class:<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLbRR5aBpwSA866bRnwWsU4cj_l6Eg3-Zx5la2RxZWJxGcp-7U2vSuo_e1YW7B7jWDki7zQzdvMkW3X3TZrxZeijtxUlPk3oJSS28FWXqjcL2XpbFmb8P3aTAnUSurFGEi0OxgA0KgcAk/s1600/Embedded+Embossing+Card.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 231px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLbRR5aBpwSA866bRnwWsU4cj_l6Eg3-Zx5la2RxZWJxGcp-7U2vSuo_e1YW7B7jWDki7zQzdvMkW3X3TZrxZeijtxUlPk3oJSS28FWXqjcL2XpbFmb8P3aTAnUSurFGEi0OxgA0KgcAk/s320/Embedded+Embossing+Card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5583061449134745730" border="0" /></a><br /><br />This was card created with the embedded embossing technique...this was another card CASE'd from Gretchen Barron. I love how the punched pieces look flat, like they were stamped, and not adhered to the Melon Mambo CS then run through the Big Shot with the Lattice textured impressions folder. Cool!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEib2BeXZXi-_ttyNc1R3KSWqXSoDYNMDOFfnXt5C3vHuPuCwYnjF_bQeZblKF-o1BIUtLo8EUJXU7qRyQzIyIf63jO9gNikLZ4gwXk72l1miwQoWD_PW-Jh_iiwUpD_3vRX4lNm8KvlS5w/s1600/Two+Tags+Basket.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 312px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEib2BeXZXi-_ttyNc1R3KSWqXSoDYNMDOFfnXt5C3vHuPuCwYnjF_bQeZblKF-o1BIUtLo8EUJXU7qRyQzIyIf63jO9gNikLZ4gwXk72l1miwQoWD_PW-Jh_iiwUpD_3vRX4lNm8KvlS5w/s320/Two+Tags+Basket.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5583061456355292290" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Besides the takeout box that posted about on Girls' Day, we also made this basket using the SU! exclusive Sizzix Two Tags Bigz die. I saw a tutorial on Dawn Olchefske's blog (click <a href="http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2010/06/dawn-dostamping-stampin-up-two-tags-die-box.html">here</a> to view it). I think I'm gonna make these for the office to celebrate Easter next month.<br /><br />Thanks for stopping by!<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-85019308239468222382011-03-11T19:11:00.005-10:002011-03-11T19:28:20.602-10:00More Class SamplesHi there! Sorry I've been away a little longer than I planned....here are some other samples from last month's class:<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2RHJe3xfJ-5kuRwPQ81DnecruJNRTdlPLi7aazih6MhKmAavl3b9czrznhvv9pvC_ri9bRrKkKCIDMqWoSn3ZSo2LFrPedQBtEZk_qy6v_6MMcK_Ii9XxNiEqwO8f9TimEPfRSL3Jtg/s1600/Bliss+card.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 245px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2RHJe3xfJ-5kuRwPQ81DnecruJNRTdlPLi7aazih6MhKmAavl3b9czrznhvv9pvC_ri9bRrKkKCIDMqWoSn3ZSo2LFrPedQBtEZk_qy6v_6MMcK_Ii9XxNiEqwO8f9TimEPfRSL3Jtg/s320/Bliss+card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5583057509040681314" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I saw this card on a blog (I don't remember whose blog; I thought I saved a link, but can't find it) and LOVED it! My fave part was probably using the Chantilly lace trim. It is <span style="font-style: italic;">soooo</span> easy to tie, and it always looks great!! This card was created with the <span style="font-style: italic;">free</span> Sale-A-Bration Bliss stamp set.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6RrpvLqdea5aSdUPjaBHpElTsGKA2vYZGjyefLVCX90GmYOWRmhTsQgHFDlY7W3ARSSL0NbNwl8aeAuRkaBYScNwiTFLrlwmiO2Dev3o8Z8UFlPnJn1b_OWYFCb-xan9Q7oScDZHWfLo/s1600/Cupcakes+Card.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 299px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6RrpvLqdea5aSdUPjaBHpElTsGKA2vYZGjyefLVCX90GmYOWRmhTsQgHFDlY7W3ARSSL0NbNwl8aeAuRkaBYScNwiTFLrlwmiO2Dev3o8Z8UFlPnJn1b_OWYFCb-xan9Q7oScDZHWfLo/s320/Cupcakes+Card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5583057521423970178" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I saw a sample of this card on a blog, and it created by someone named Nancy. I like how most of the card was created using different SU! punches. Doesn't it look yummy?<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy4H2P01pzoUbpJE7Wl0d1kTr2DXb2LCWaV8YrWZxMoUD9WQ2paTGhqgIXakYBYUaGe8nf1vg9ljmkG5lRJIof4nhMbGuqwU5KdSqlFgcQACHpefi9uhODFFAoT-xmekXUG3JmXI1cGaE/s1600/Flowers+in+Vase+card.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 274px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy4H2P01pzoUbpJE7Wl0d1kTr2DXb2LCWaV8YrWZxMoUD9WQ2paTGhqgIXakYBYUaGe8nf1vg9ljmkG5lRJIof4nhMbGuqwU5KdSqlFgcQACHpefi9uhODFFAoT-xmekXUG3JmXI1cGaE/s320/Flowers+in+Vase+card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5583057513183644290" border="0" /></a><br /><br />This card was a favorite with most of the ladies. The line of adhesive pearls really added a lot to the card. This was one that I found on Gretchen Barron's <a href="http://gretchenbarron.typepad.com/my_weblog/">blog</a>--one of my favorite blogs to visit!<br /><br />The last card and the other project that we did will be posted next time. I'm pooped after staying up late to see the latest on the tsunami news and then having to wake up early to wrap gifts and prizes (talk about power wrapping!) for a baby shower I co-hosted today. Since I'm always last minute, I only finished the favors last night.<br /><br />Anyway hope everyone is ok, and I'll see you next time...<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-51451364442599354592011-03-08T21:33:00.004-10:002011-03-08T21:44:49.160-10:00Card SamplesHere are a couple of the cards that I did for a class last month at Dawne's house (thanks, Dawne, for always being a great hostess!!)...<br /><br />A super simple (and quick!) card...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgO_8EFhdMDvMF4MyOk8yNUBMGe8N3dEYNp8rWP8spynbnCVPDWvfiFSCO8qgHJp6aFbt0LHQsDeiEwYbKOAAsYeWSGk3j1llikt9lZRk6wFvHAEP9t_BKvR2gP3sEKlL6tmlzr-uPVnsY/s1600/Very+Vintage+card.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 242px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgO_8EFhdMDvMF4MyOk8yNUBMGe8N3dEYNp8rWP8spynbnCVPDWvfiFSCO8qgHJp6aFbt0LHQsDeiEwYbKOAAsYeWSGk3j1llikt9lZRk6wFvHAEP9t_BKvR2gP3sEKlL6tmlzr-uPVnsY/s320/Very+Vintage+card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581980808581728370" border="0" /></a><br /><br />We just used the Very Vintage jumbo wheel in Crumb Cake at the bottom of the Very Vanilla card (mounted on Crumb Cake CS), and stamped a sentiment at the top. Added some Crumb Cake seam binding to balance it all out. Easy, right?<br /><br />...and a "yummy" card...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo0NblCMNK-NZsd4OLLB2ZMcm8XVg-QohnxJjEXISDWxeff0G5yKMvYI7jFVc3NDvur090j4D9lE2Dglm5oYX85Z37CfqjrNwSWUj61zjs56yXUpfwdPCR474LUJUSj6psbMoqCq-q5qI/s1600/Ice+Cream+Cone+card.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo0NblCMNK-NZsd4OLLB2ZMcm8XVg-QohnxJjEXISDWxeff0G5yKMvYI7jFVc3NDvur090j4D9lE2Dglm5oYX85Z37CfqjrNwSWUj61zjs56yXUpfwdPCR474LUJUSj6psbMoqCq-q5qI/s320/Ice+Cream+Cone+card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581980804055479858" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I saw this ice cream card on <span style="font-style: italic;">tons</span> of blogs and wanted to make one, too! After cutting the cone and ice cream scoop using the Petal Cone Bigz L die, we added texture to the cone using one of the Perfect Details texture plates. I didn't have the Tasteful Trimz XL die to do the bottom of the ice cream, so we used the Scallop Border punch to create it instead. We sponged the pieces to add dimension, too. Cute! :)<br /><br />Hope you're having a great week so far....see you again in a few when I'll share some other cards from this class!<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-84419245435180817702011-03-06T09:46:00.004-10:002011-03-06T09:53:51.052-10:00Girls' DayHi all!<br /><br />I know I'm super late, but just a quick post and pic of what I made for the girls in the office for Girls Day. I planned to make chichi dango to put inside, but went out for dinner the night before, so I had to buy goodies from Wholesale Unlimited instead (still yummy, though!).<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu6FzIar__zasrpOiUux8Kfi4sdEV2dDS7Yqwms1jW2fZC6pWg9xWWujABHNlWlitI5zNfxBF6MFQS9kHWXBNEWxPZ0w4ffW1RqN_oaDYqrqblnTh8jk9nXIpw23M0PmjzmhFUZjqqqGQ/s1600/Girls+Day+2011.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 275px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu6FzIar__zasrpOiUux8Kfi4sdEV2dDS7Yqwms1jW2fZC6pWg9xWWujABHNlWlitI5zNfxBF6MFQS9kHWXBNEWxPZ0w4ffW1RqN_oaDYqrqblnTh8jk9nXIpw23M0PmjzmhFUZjqqqGQ/s320/Girls+Day+2011.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581056045939070370" border="0" /></a><br /><br />This is a takeout box made from SU!'s exclusive Sizzix Petal Cone die. I saw a video online on how to make one and thought it would be absolutely perfect for Girls' Day! I also made this (different image, though) as one of the 3-D projects for my class last month. I'll share pics of the cards and the other project we did in the coming week.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Supplies used (all SU!, unless otherwise indicated):</span><br />Stamp: Easter Blossoms<br />Paper: Very Vanilla CS<br />Ink: Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Ink; Pink Pirouette and Regal Rose markers; Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Ink pen<br />Other: Sizzix Petal Cone die; ribbon (May Arts)<br /><br />See ya next time!<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-77293955483011211552011-02-14T22:00:00.003-10:002011-02-14T22:07:31.533-10:00Happy Valentine's Day!Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you had a great day filled with lots of love and eats. I think I gained at least 5 pounds today. Everyone at work baked or bought something sweet to share, and I <span style="font-style: italic;">had </span>to partake because I didn't want to seem rude. LOL! :)<br /><br />Anyway, quick post again today to share the card that I made for my husband. It was pretty last minute as I'm prepping for a class this weekend, so I haven't had much free time the past few weeks....<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAvD2IWcyOTEbiLCbDE0lMhSkNwXRgwAhuyINC_UaWaps03BYvlhjAtmo3q6NnCj-3exd2u-NAbPn7p6EkMd18lQAk0kTczdc5r_0kfen6lxku-tu2A5pncwCXwigs1VV9kbmt8TLIGVU/s1600/Valentine%2527s+Day+2011.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 244px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAvD2IWcyOTEbiLCbDE0lMhSkNwXRgwAhuyINC_UaWaps03BYvlhjAtmo3q6NnCj-3exd2u-NAbPn7p6EkMd18lQAk0kTczdc5r_0kfen6lxku-tu2A5pncwCXwigs1VV9kbmt8TLIGVU/s320/Valentine%2527s+Day+2011.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5573823896806308466" border="0" /></a><br /><br />LOVE the new cling stamps from Dandelion Designs!! Wow, time has sure flown by quickly....just wanted to drop in and share some pics of favors I made for a baby shower someone at work was throwing for a relative.<br /><br />She asked for Pooh and/or Tigger. Luckily I had a Cricut cartridge that I could use as I wasn't looking forward to trying to create them using punches otherwise. I apologize for the quality of the photos. I took them with my iPhone since I finished them on break while at work. Here's one side of the favor...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdEm9Ksa_O86IPyK-GD4Jw05U8Aw4fpkhzMwjyxbWIGTBKWcF5TCrx_9NVSIRE4qJrYiiSQc12H4WepFml5HG3_L8v2JtI40llOGdG3jANMUQZtrTd6QX-tsnnENaumms6Pa-npEHE1gc/s1600/Pooh+favor+%2528front%2529.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 190px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdEm9Ksa_O86IPyK-GD4Jw05U8Aw4fpkhzMwjyxbWIGTBKWcF5TCrx_9NVSIRE4qJrYiiSQc12H4WepFml5HG3_L8v2JtI40llOGdG3jANMUQZtrTd6QX-tsnnENaumms6Pa-npEHE1gc/s320/Pooh+favor+%2528front%2529.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5572561362707926882" border="0" /></a><br /><br />...and here's the other side...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj10w0xo8sCV7NAr2NjmmlKPPoq8HYbEzG12QUUBYNPmPW12F5VsduwjjROIYxyW-eJtS6bSA-Q3HJtVcP9yzM8VsrnD9vMpNdrYMsCtMPlhPSY2t7gSwPw14qxy6W7LnKklnhQz7YGyTw/s1600/Pooh+favor+%2528back%2529.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 188px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj10w0xo8sCV7NAr2NjmmlKPPoq8HYbEzG12QUUBYNPmPW12F5VsduwjjROIYxyW-eJtS6bSA-Q3HJtVcP9yzM8VsrnD9vMpNdrYMsCtMPlhPSY2t7gSwPw14qxy6W7LnKklnhQz7YGyTw/s320/Pooh+favor+%2528back%2529.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5572561357487128466" border="0" /></a><br /><br />The other 2 sides of the mini milk carton were pretty plain....I just stamped "hello baby" on the side where the milk spout would open. The Tigger side that you see above was not in my original plans. I had to add the cloud behind him because I got my sides all mixed up when stamping "hello baby". That'll teach me to just visualize it in my head! But I think it worked out ok. What do you think?<br /><br />The hardest part of the favor was putting together Pooh and Tigger. I had to cut them out at 1.5" on the Cricut so that they could fit on the side of the mini milk carton. That meant that I had to draw in the eyes and eyebrows because there were only tiny slits where they were supposed to be. Thank goodness my nails are pretty long right now, or I would not have been glue the tiny pieces on (I have a hard time using craft tweezers!).<br /><br />My favorite part of the favor, though, is the tiny clothespins with ribbon I used to keep the favor closed. I found the clothespins (great bargain!) and the micro glue dots at Pineapple Cove, and the ribbon (just what I was looking for) was from Stamps & Memories.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Supplies used:</span><br />Stamps: hello baby from Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU!)<br />Ink: More Mustard, Bashful Blue (SU!)<br />Paper: Barely Banana CS, Certainly Celery CS, Basic Black CS (SU!); Gold CS (Worldwin Papers); Red CS, Orange CS, Pink CS (unknown)<br />Other: Grass punch (Martha Stewart); Pooh Font cartridge (Cricut); Ribbon (unknown); Mini Milk Carton die (SU!); Tiny Clothespins (Loew Cornell); Micro Glue Dots (Glue Dots International); black gel ink pen (unknown)<br /><br />Hope you have a great weekend!!!<br /><br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-69837431941615937452010-12-26T19:40:00.003-10:002010-12-26T19:48:15.231-10:00Happy Holidays!Wow...Christmas sure came and went FAST, yeah? I barely finished making the calendars I gave away for Christmas. I had to make a bunch as favors for a Christmas luncheon earlier this month, but they were so much fun to make, I decided to make more to give away. I believe this was originally designed by Jean of Dandelion Designs, but I learned to make it at PhotoCraft during a Make & Take last month.<br /><br />Here's a shot of several of the calendars....aren't they colorful?<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1NU0htrf8C6jI-qzJxZjntXuom1ux6c_ZGRsirk1w2www_-uZpH3rZqNOkI_N9xVN6hDR5q4K0kSdMgx46ZgJbEIndoQDB3sv6nrjH4Sttmrdze1reywM5c7aXKQGJOfKwOZE9W9prSk/s1600/Hello+Kitty+Desk+Calendars.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 122px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1NU0htrf8C6jI-qzJxZjntXuom1ux6c_ZGRsirk1w2www_-uZpH3rZqNOkI_N9xVN6hDR5q4K0kSdMgx46ZgJbEIndoQDB3sv6nrjH4Sttmrdze1reywM5c7aXKQGJOfKwOZE9W9prSk/s320/Hello+Kitty+Desk+Calendars.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5555233810157292098" border="0" /></a><br /><br />The most challenging part of making these was finding cute decorate <span style="font-style: italic;">paper</span>, since cardstock was too thick for the folding.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Supplies used:</span><br />Stamps: Hello Kitty (PSA Essentials)<br />Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento); Copic markers<br />Paper: Printed papers (Doodlebug Designs); Cardstock (SU!)<br />Other: Calendars (AIP); 1-1/4" circle punch, 1-3/8" circle punch, Scallop Circle punch (SU!)<br /><br />Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season with family and friends....stay safe!<br /><br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-41684046431017322562010-12-12T21:28:00.004-10:002010-12-19T21:16:21.680-10:00Cute Christmas OrnamentsI had to make an ornament for Darin to take to work, and saw some cute ornaments on the Ben Franklin Craft Club website, so I had to try and make one. It came out pretty cute and now I can't stop making 'em! I popped the snowmen up using three layers of foam tape. Then added some Polar White Flower Soft and Martha Stewart Holiday Glitter and for added "sparkle" some Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter too. I'm planning to give these to some co-workers with their Christmas gifts. I have one more pack of MS snowman stickers, so I'm gonna make five more and give them to my mom and my in-laws. Just wanted to share a super simple Christmas card that I had to make to mail out to my in-laws and another relative...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwPpNyi4V0RlCWLDD4F7IIdHLuBmCrX9TSlL31bUGvHMau8nN33wpFZ2Byeud57teOkoHm2y6sx81R8Vlk4v_vbLxSHOgHSM9DSFVdhtkKtgAuHnCY8GXmyy65O0gyoKoLdJQbYgJtGR0/s1600/Pink+Cat+Christmas.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 253px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwPpNyi4V0RlCWLDD4F7IIdHLuBmCrX9TSlL31bUGvHMau8nN33wpFZ2Byeud57teOkoHm2y6sx81R8Vlk4v_vbLxSHOgHSM9DSFVdhtkKtgAuHnCY8GXmyy65O0gyoKoLdJQbYgJtGR0/s320/Pink+Cat+Christmas.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550063458281627074" border="0" /></a><br /><br />This image from Pink Cat Studio was one of many that I bought before this year, always intending to use for cards and stuff, but never got around to actually doing it! So I'm happy that I finally put some ink on the rubber and created <span style="font-style: italic;">something</span>!!! :)<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Supplies used:</span><br />Stamp: Pink Cat Studio<br />Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Copic markers<br />Paper: Christmas patterned paper (Doodlebug); Green Galore CS, Real Red CS (Stampin' Up!); White CS (Papertrey Ink)<br />Other: Stickles glitter glue; Crystal Effects (SU!); Labels die (Spellbinders)<br /><br />I think Darin is in shock that I actually started crafting this weekend. I've been on a very extended break, so it's been hard to get back into the groove, but I'm trying! I made some Christmas ornaments too, so I'll share that later in the week.<br /><br />Hope you had a great weekend!<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-55076463209803884142010-11-25T09:40:00.002-10:002010-11-25T09:43:49.331-10:00Happy Gobble, Gobble Day!Hi all!<br /><br />Just wanted to share a cute "turkey" that a super talented person at work made for some of us....<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxOpj0yN7L-j0dG7sZgk2d467SrXQLDWGHvBqjlXKfClizOVFORrzAsbo_bjE1oLfEhA-JOfst8IFCyB6RDUJVy9uz7rK732KqsfqJLfkqGYxa35zHfXB8Vm0KZ7Jh3sgJcaQQhvY4itg/s1600/Happy+Gobble%252C+Gobble.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 288px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxOpj0yN7L-j0dG7sZgk2d467SrXQLDWGHvBqjlXKfClizOVFORrzAsbo_bjE1oLfEhA-JOfst8IFCyB6RDUJVy9uz7rK732KqsfqJLfkqGYxa35zHfXB8Vm0KZ7Jh3sgJcaQQhvY4itg/s320/Happy+Gobble%252C+Gobble.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5543574990049831410" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Thanks for dropping by.....have a Happy Thanksgiving!<br /><br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-62416616548485314742010-10-31T11:30:00.003-10:002010-10-31T11:35:59.949-10:00Happy Halloween!Just a quick post...wanted to share what I made for the peeps at work for Halloween:<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmf5NKYmeKAQIOMnz9kzLPpuezRtRzgNzqXv3qleyDCbgX0Xvu-DVJWYiMhjqSbkDbevEh6-KN7KtlEHrwWp9ajp8hDC6ftEZrNXQajDFcxHctX8PxnxxBqFf5UUm2MRkFrtbvaZ5CDBk/s1600/Candy+Corn+Favor+Bag.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 292px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmf5NKYmeKAQIOMnz9kzLPpuezRtRzgNzqXv3qleyDCbgX0Xvu-DVJWYiMhjqSbkDbevEh6-KN7KtlEHrwWp9ajp8hDC6ftEZrNXQajDFcxHctX8PxnxxBqFf5UUm2MRkFrtbvaZ5CDBk/s320/Candy+Corn+Favor+Bag.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534325998642932290" border="0" /></a><br /><br />It was made with a die from PTI...when I saw it, I just thought of candy corn. I love candy corn things, but not the actual stuff to eat. I thought this was the correct pattern for the colors, but not sure cuz I've also seen candy corn with the yellow on top and the orange in the middle. Well either way, I think it came out pertty cute! :)<br /><br />And yes, of course I filled 'em up with candies before passing them out. Actually the favor itself doesn't hold much, so I put the box into a cello bag and added more stuff!<br /><br />Hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween!!<br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-76806317116207361272010-09-18T23:11:00.003-10:002010-09-18T23:15:22.974-10:00We Have a Winner!!Used random.org to pick a winner:<br />------------------------------------------<br />Here are your random numbers: <pre class="data">7<br /></pre> <p>Timestamp: 2010-09-19 09:10:57 UTC<br />------------------------------------------</p><p>Janis is the winner...congratulations! I <span style="font-style: italic;">finally</span> got around to trying out <a href="http://bigideasfromalittlegirl.blogspot.com/2010/04/put-on-your-aprons-and-lets-bake-cake.html">Teri's tea light cake tutorial</a>, which I had been meaning to do ever since she posted it (OMG that was 5 months ago!!). I bought tons of tea light candles in anticipation of all the fat-free cake making I was gonna do, but....nothing.....until now....<br /><br />Here are the cakes I made for girls at the office, who celebrated birthdays the last few months:<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBZYFVbx4mWKYN4UIWpnNFPb864ksBF51_p_l3YFZEZoOjHNzKuumFYiw8dDoTqKvkf9E0SxHxjAdk5hK2JgQgzpkmTmX0KbQvn7Hb2pCMF7-4IULxyL-Vn0n11fz7j0Tx4VZ3Sk0AIOk/s1600/Des+Fat-Free+Birthday+Cake.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 282px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBZYFVbx4mWKYN4UIWpnNFPb864ksBF51_p_l3YFZEZoOjHNzKuumFYiw8dDoTqKvkf9E0SxHxjAdk5hK2JgQgzpkmTmX0KbQvn7Hb2pCMF7-4IULxyL-Vn0n11fz7j0Tx4VZ3Sk0AIOk/s320/Des+Fat-Free+Birthday+Cake.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5514801121363468754" border="0" /></a><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><br /><br /></span><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjq-Boda1ow_wCnrPiX2x_eojzyCoN1og8nMDl7H1grwb9loAicW_3jV8Z2NUikeIAZsu-ysoRr-QaZpYYPjrQrqGAXC7ne82ZyiDP_jLGmyTy4M7-1TazjGYE-XpHkeeG9bNGkalb-E-Q/s1600/Fat-Free+Birthday+Cake+Trio+copy.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 114px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjq-Boda1ow_wCnrPiX2x_eojzyCoN1og8nMDl7H1grwb9loAicW_3jV8Z2NUikeIAZsu-ysoRr-QaZpYYPjrQrqGAXC7ne82ZyiDP_jLGmyTy4M7-1TazjGYE-XpHkeeG9bNGkalb-E-Q/s320/Fat-Free+Birthday+Cake+Trio+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5514801123464529794" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I used color-changing LED tea light candles that I found on clearance during my trip to Vegas last month. Well I finally had to create some cards, so here I am.<br /><br />I was looking on various blogs for cards using the Go, Graduate! set from SU!, and I found the cutest graduation cap cards on Dawn Olchefske's blog <a href="http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2010/06/grads-dads-grad-hat-fun-fold-card.html">here</a>, so I totally had to CASE them! The best part.....they were quick and easy! :)<br /><br />Here they are closed.....<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1cjOKk-mLiEljmAlncSFp2xGjoplBSg57jx3mS6y9i1diY8L1PJAMgK7_SdeY_ecNQGSowvXbs18yj_yrEDFKj4GHk29GsdCUBa6n1Xlp2LwFkTloKZkSACwdsrDOkGs26PI-QJbasqo/s1600/Grad+Cap+Cards+%28closed%29.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1cjOKk-mLiEljmAlncSFp2xGjoplBSg57jx3mS6y9i1diY8L1PJAMgK7_SdeY_ecNQGSowvXbs18yj_yrEDFKj4GHk29GsdCUBa6n1Xlp2LwFkTloKZkSACwdsrDOkGs26PI-QJbasqo/s320/Grad+Cap+Cards+%28closed%29.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5485130142062961170" border="0" /></a><br /><br />....and here's a shot of them all opened up!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP1zonUHuXijuqGzZ25ZtmE6cfL50aUUQmKWDU2kuJRABJw9p656aP-9FrKHM42ywbWRJWCveyiaVZ-_o8mxFxFzA7yvYyi8a1l0rTgyKb4wMzMjQ82yVZmZKGen7mJgZfkyZIIpwfcWI/s1600/Grad+Cap+Cards+%28open%29.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 215px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP1zonUHuXijuqGzZ25ZtmE6cfL50aUUQmKWDU2kuJRABJw9p656aP-9FrKHM42ywbWRJWCveyiaVZ-_o8mxFxFzA7yvYyi8a1l0rTgyKb4wMzMjQ82yVZmZKGen7mJgZfkyZIIpwfcWI/s320/Grad+Cap+Cards+%28open%29.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5485130135416027250" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I think the "funnest" part was making the tassel for the grad cap. Don't look too close, though, otherwise you'll see that I didn't use a gold/yellow ribbon. The closest I could find was some Apricot Appeal. Oops!<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Supplies used:</span><br />Stamps: Go, Graduate! (SU!)<br />Paper: Brown CS, Yellow CS (American Crafts); Cherry Cobbler CS, Whisper White CS (SU!)<br />Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento); Copic markers<br />Other: Mini brads (Recollections); Apricot Appeal 1/4" grosgrain ribbon (SU!)<br /><br />Hope you have a great week!<br /><br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482825532717404555.post-64545440983540287312010-04-09T22:45:00.001-10:002010-04-09T22:45:14.849-10:00Card Class Part IIIOops...I uploaded the pictures of the last cards from class, but left it in edit mode, so it never got posted. Anyway, I don't have access to my notes and stuff, so I can't give credit to the women whose cards I CASEd below...I'll be sure to post it when I make it back home.<br /><br />I liked this card. The front is only the two little panels, and the pink that you see is actually from the inside of the card. I thought the ladies might be a little challenged with the cutting on this one, but they did a great job (waaaay better than I did)!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4ciUKhfY7HvM5EZm9_5iapfNT5kr6uzkMRtb6-fUshswR7GsYLhQf0xvEezbe8jhBg48S7g7voPTEpylm9CXayFW59xBgBvH6ELknQCnHHQLxEFXDOpe2DyweqhznBhTF_zwRh2VSr50/s1600/You're+Too+Kind+card.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 256px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4ciUKhfY7HvM5EZm9_5iapfNT5kr6uzkMRtb6-fUshswR7GsYLhQf0xvEezbe8jhBg48S7g7voPTEpylm9CXayFW59xBgBvH6ELknQCnHHQLxEFXDOpe2DyweqhznBhTF_zwRh2VSr50/s320/You're+Too+Kind+card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5455050191474074738" border="0" /></a><br /><br />And this sympathy card is so beautiful in person. The original card I saw was done in Cameo Coral, but wanted to do something in blue. Love the color combo of Bashful Blue and Brocade Blue, so I'm really sad that Brocade Blue will be retired by Stampin' Up! at the end of June.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbAnXGz7zDOQiL9V5DfhgIu5Qmd-aHYsEGnI2PeEWEPATT6oi_p-s7mh_Oysk4sXZSoU8pKZKdvOzi_6HAXDCkygHVJishT5KVjRNCiXyxlDj1SJbjvFDbIZKah7cKNpYlN7oPnRcVN-A/s1600/With+Sympathy+butterfly+card.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 261px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbAnXGz7zDOQiL9V5DfhgIu5Qmd-aHYsEGnI2PeEWEPATT6oi_p-s7mh_Oysk4sXZSoU8pKZKdvOzi_6HAXDCkygHVJishT5KVjRNCiXyxlDj1SJbjvFDbIZKah7cKNpYlN7oPnRcVN-A/s320/With+Sympathy+butterfly+card.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5455050186934530306" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Unfortunately I didn't upload a picture of the "bonus" project we did. It was a birdhouse, like the ones that popped up everywhere a while back. Oh well you'll just have to take my word that it turned out pretty cute! LOL<br /><br />Anyway, it's been a long week...not used to working 5 days a week anymore, so I am beat. Hope you all have a nice weekend!<br /><br /><a href="http://s539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/?action=view&current=Signature.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff357/fay349/Signature.png" alt="Signature" border="0" /></a>Fayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755951281746131312noreply@blogger.com7
